About the Program

UNIYIA is actively involved in advocating for the integration of e-mobility solutions in Ghana, focusing on electric bikes (e-bikes) as a sustainable transportation option. This advocacy includes conducting e-bike audits to assess their viability, challenges, and benefits in urban and rural settings. We aim to provide actionable insights that guide policy development and infrastructure planning to support the widespread adoption of e-mobility.

Our efforts also extend to the development of necessary infrastructure, such as charging stations and designated lanes, to ensure a smooth transition to e-mobility in Ghana. By engaging local communities and stakeholders, UNIYIA works to build a supportive ecosystem for the adoption of clean transportation technologies.

Youth engagement is central to this initiative. We empower young people to become champions of e-mobility, involving them in advocacy campaigns, education, and practical projects that promote sustainable transportation solutions. Through workshops, events, and collaborations with technical experts, we ensure that youth are informed, involved, and actively contributing to shaping Ghana's e-mobility landscape.

This comprehensive approach ensures that e-mobility adoption is not just a technological shift, but a community-driven movement that creates lasting change. By combining policy advocacy, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment, we are building the foundation for a sustainable transportation future in Ghana.
